Tasting- Sea Pearl Pinot Nior, 2013

Name: Sea Pearl Pinor Noir
Variety: Pinor Noir
Region: Marlborough
Country: New Zealand
Year: 2013
Price: Approx. $13 per bottle

Winery Review: "Ripe, red cherries and dark berries followed by toasty oak. Raspberries, chocolate and concentrated black cherry, with well-balanced acidity and a fine powdered structure is followed by toasty oak and spice." --WineSellers LTD

My Personal Review: A red wine with a medium body that has a smooth taste. Little to no tannin with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Deep berry and plum aroma and flavor and a hint of oak finish. I liked this wine a lot! Could see it being paired well with a dark chocolate.

I tasted this wine on its own without food.
