Tasting- Dandelion Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

Name: Pride of the Fleurieu Cabernet Sauvignon
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Fleurieu
Country: Australia
Year: 2014
Price: $15-20 on average

Winery Review: "Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with a deep bright dark red purple hue. Elevated scents of blackcurrants and mulberries are laced with cedary tobacco characters, faint bay leaf and spice. Full bodied the palate unleashes a torrent of rich blackcurrant flavours with undercurrents of mulberry, cedary tobacco characters, subtle bay leaf infusions and spicy dried herbs. Slightly chewy mouthfeel with solidly built, firmish tannins absorbing the wealth of fruit. Excellent depth finishing long with an aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, mulberry, cedary tobacco characters and spice." --Nicks Wine Merchants

My Personal Review: A deep rich red wine with dark berry aroma and taste. A smooth full-bodied wine with a hint of spice.

Tasted this wine on its own without food.
