Tasting- Alamos Malbec, 2010

Name: Alamos Malbec
Variety: Malbec
Region: Mendoza
Country: Argentina
Year: 2010
Price: Approx. $8 per bottle

Winery Review: "Rubbery at first, then it rounds out and settles down to offer blackberry and richness and jammy aromas. The palate is soft, lush and cushioned, while blackberry flavors run sweet, toasty, and chocolaty. Remains sweet on the finish, with fig and minty spice flavors." --Wine Enthusiast

Personal Review: A deep red wine with notes of dark berry flavor. Smooth with a medium to full body. Shows hints of spice and subtle woody taste.

I tasted this wine on its own without food.
