Tasting- Santa Julia Plus Cabernet Sauvignon, 2015

Name: Santa Julia Plus Cabernet Sauvignon
Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Mendoza
Country: Argentina
Year: 2015
Price: Approx. $11 per bottle

Winery Review: "Ruby red with purple highlights and good intensity. A nose mainly of black cherries, prunes, gooseberryies, blackberries, and spices. Full-bodied, rich, and balanced with fine tannins. A long and persistent finish." --Winesellers Ltd

Personal Review: A full bodied red with large amount of acidity. The acidity to me was overbearing and covered much of the taste. Tasted it a second time after the bottle was shaken a little which lowered the acidity and brought out the fruity notes leaving a cherry and earthy finish. Not my favorite wine. Liked it much more after it was shaken and the acidity went down.
